We have been playing in this league since 1977. We used to play our home matches at Borrington Road under the name of Dudley Indians, then we changed out name to D.G.S.A. We did used to have two teams (A + B) for a number of years, the B team being run by Narendra Patel (Spud). In the photo I, Balvant Patel am 3rd left on the back row.

We've been playing in the league for 30 years so we're probably the oldest team to still be surviving from then. I've been playing ever since the age of 18 and now I'm 48 I'm still playing and hope to keep going even longer. My captain Anil Patel and I have kept this club running to the present day and hope to continue into the future.

I'd like to thank all of our players from the past and the present who have played for D.G.S.A. as well as the league, umpires and commitee who keep this league going. Keep up the good work.
